What’s Our Vibe?

Mitch founded Rotolo’s as a protest to the 9-5 world, and maybe also a way to justify spending so much time in a bar. The original Rotolo’s bled purple, gold, and freedom – feelings that carry nostalgia for customers across the Gulf Coast. Now in 2026, we’ve made the change from “just another” neighborhood pizzeria to a destination restaurant that customers look forward to visiting with their friends and family. Rotolo’s is about more than just getting a quick bite. We put thought into our recipes, our drink menu, and our environment to create an atmosphere that our customers enjoy.

In 1996, Rotolo’s first Pizzeria was born and raised in Baton Rouge’s famous college bar scene. With the motto of good times and great pizza, Rotolo’s Pizzeria (RP) continues to thrive 30 years later. From homemade sauces, to in-house dough, fresh veggies to friendly smiles, RP is a local spot for families across the Gulf South. We specialize in Detroit style and craft pizzas and offer a variety of burgers, wings, salads, and shareables.
